"I moved into my custom built home in March 2006. I knew
almost immediately that there was something wrong with
my heating and air conditioning system which took away
the joy of being a first home buyer. That summer, my unit
ran all day long, without cycling off and on. Ironically, the
house was never cool. I spent my first winter, getting up in
the middle of the night to turn the heat off because it too would not react to the temperature outside or inside the house. My son and I would wake up congested because of the hot, dry air that was distributed throughout the night. Imagine always being too hot or too cold!
I contacted the developer who subsequently partnered with the heating and cooling company that installed my original HVAC system. The company sent a technician to my house who stood in my living room and asked me a few questions. After a brief conversation, he changed out my thermostat and left. This was the first of over two dozen visits, three different technicians, and sleepless nights that spanned over a year and a half. The last visit was from the owner who tried to reason with me and convince me that there was nothing wrong. They changed the outside unit, the inside coil and the thermostat (3 more times) and declared that there was nothing more that they could do.
I continued to be uncomfortable until Jim Ball recommended the ComfortMax Evaluation. A comfort specialist came to my house, spent time in the attic, examined the ductwork, return air grille (among other things) and within 2 hours the specialist had an idea of what they could do to make me more comfortable. He came back within a few days and made the changes. The difference was immediate and dramatic.
It's been four years since they made the changes. If Jim had not mentioned the fact that it might not be the equipment but the way my system had been installed that could be causing the problem, I would have settled for what the previous HVAC company told me and I would still be miserable in my new house."

I've known the Ball family many years. I'm never concerned about letting one of their techs into our home. They're clean, polite & thorough taking care of our system. They never leave a mess when they leave. They make sure my wife & I understand what they've done & what we may need for our system to perform properly. We appreciate have their team take care of our A/C-heating unit.

We were very pleased it was on a weekend and they can right out out to fix our air conditioner. We have 2 little ones to get same day repair was a blessing.
